Penalty Box Bar & Grill is hiring a Full-Time Counter Help / Cashier to join our front-of-house crew!
No restaurant experience? No problem — we will train you! Bring a positive attitude, great customer service energy, and a readiness to jump in.
Because this role includes serving alcoholic beverages, you must be 18+ to apply.
We’re a family-run hockey-rink restaurant, serving great food to players, parents, fans, and birthday party guests. If you love staying busy, working with people, and being part of the rink community — this job is for you.
Role Type & Location:
- Full-Time.
- Salem, NH — inside the Salem Icenter.
- Must be 18 or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet guests & take orders with a friendly attitude.
- Run the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Serve food and assist with light prep.
- Serve draft/canned beverages (18+ required).
- Maintain clean dining & prep areas.
- Stock supplies, assist with inventory & restocking.
- Help with birthday parties & rink events.
- Deliver outstanding hospitality and team support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18+.
- Positive, reliable, customer-focused attitude.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Enjoys fast-paced environments.
- Able to stand and move during shifts.
- Full-time availability — mix of weekdays, nights & weekends.
